Admission Requirements
Enrollment is easy, if you meet the following requirements you can sign up for the next class:

Are 17 years of age or older
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Have proper identification
If you do not have a HS Diploma or GED you can take a ATB test to get in.

Program Starting Dates
The Barber program runs consecutively throughout the year. We start our Barbering program every other month: January, March, May, July, September (FT & PT) and November. Please contact admissions for exact dates.

Step 2
Meet with a Financial Aid advisor to:
Complete your FAFSA
Apply for any alternative funding sources

Start your barbering course!
GED/HSE Programs
If you do not have a high school diploma or GED you can look into one of the programs below to help you. These programs are not required for enrollment into a Sharp Edgez Barber Institute.

Transferring Credits
The school will credit the student up to 70 % of hours obtained in an accredited Barber Course. Certified documentation from the previous school will be needed in order to take advantage of this. An “official copy of the transcript” must be furnished by the student to the school. It must contain hours earned and grades received for their previous course. The school shall give written and practical tests to verify the students’ ability. The school shall ultimately determine the number of hours granted to the student.
